EA is closing multiplayer support for 20 older titles. The multiplayer servers for these games will shut down on Tuesday, February 2. You can continue to play online until this date. If you use to play any of the game from this list of games to be shut down by EA, then you should start devoting some more time to them before kissing them good bye forever on 2nd feb.

BioWare(TM) announced today Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening, the first official expansion pack to Dragon Age: Origins. The game has already been awarded as one of the best role playing games of 2009 by many critics and have already created a large fan club. The new expansion will create more anxiety amongst the dragon age fans. Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC on March 16, 2010.

Designed and written by the same team that brought you Dragon Age: Origins, the Awakening expansion pack offers a brand new area of the world to explore known as Amaranthine, featuring an epic story that will allow players to unravel the secrets of the darkspawn - and their true motivations! Players will face a range of horrific and terrifying creatures including an evolved, intelligent breed of darkspawn and other menacing creatures such as the Inferno Golem and Spectral Dragon. Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening provides exciting new ways for players to customize their heroes and party, including the ability to re-spec their character attributes, allowing even greater customization and replayability. Featuring an increased level cap, new spells, abilities, specializations and items, plus five all-new party members, players can continue their adventures from Dragon Age: Origins, or begin with a brand new character.
Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening occurs following the events of Dragon Age: Origins and puts players into the role of a Grey Warden Commander entrusted with rebuilding the order of Grey Wardens. In addition to rebuilding the ranks of the Grey Wardens, you will be tasked with uncovering the mystery of how the darkspawn survive after the slaying of the Archdemon. How players choose to rebuild their order, resolve the conflict with the mysterious "Architect," and determine the fate of the darkspawn are just some of the many intriguing moral choices that will shape each player's heroic journey. Players will be able to import their character from Dragon Age: Origins or start out as a new Grey Warden from the neighboring land of Orlais.

According to a recent Tweet from Robert Bowling, there will be no delay on the pc version of Modern Warfare 2, which was delayed from nov 10 to nov 24 earlier. Not just that, the tweet indicated that the PC version will also be having a prestige mode and a lot of steam support. Thats a total of 3 great news for the PC gamers. Blizzard is asking its players to merge their accounts with Battle.net in order to log into their game. As a part of ongoing improvements to the Battle.net servers, they are introducing a centralized account system that will let players manage all of their Blizzard Entertainment games, including World of Warcraft and future games, in one place without having to remember multiple sets of login information. In return, players will get a complete set of around-the-game features including a state-of-the-art matchmaking system, achievement system, social networking features, structured competitive play options, a marketplace, and much more. The new Battle.net Account will allow you to log in to World of Warcraft, manage purchases at the online Blizzard Store, keep track of CD keys for your Blizzard Entertainment games, access their websites (such as the World of Warcraft Armory), opt in to upcoming beta tests, and more using a single login. Plans are that in the near future, they will be adding more features, including tools to make it easier for friends to communicate between games and to help bring the community of players closer together.
